About Sharon

I’ve spent my career inside the rooms where decisions are made. For more than two decades, I worked alongside senior leaders and boards, participating in the conversations that shape executive trajectories.

My vision is to ensure that consequential career decisions are made with clarity, not assumption.

At senior levels, the right call can shape decades of influence. I believe experienced leaders deserve access to seasoned perspective when those calls matter most.

Who I Am

Decades inside the rooms where leadership decisions are made

I served as Vice President of Global Executive Recruiting at Walmart, where I built and led the team responsible for officer-level hiring across global markets. Prior to that, I spent more than 20 years at Spencer Stuart, one of the world’s leading executive search firms, advising organizations and evaluating senior talent across industries.

What I’ve learned:

• When executives overestimate their leverage
• When timing works against them
• When narratives quietly undermine credibility
• When board aspirations are misaligned with perception
• When staying “just a little longer” costs more than leaving

I work with professionals who are
  • Preparing for their next career jump

  • Negotiating offers or promotions

  • Positioning themselves for leadership or board opportunities

  • Making time-sensitive, high-impact career decisions

Confidential counsel for career inflection points

At a senior level, decisions are quieter but stakes are higher. Executives are expected to act fast, negotiate well, explain transitions cleanly, and position themselves for what’s next, often without trusted guidance.

Sharon does not offer generic career advice: she sees around corners and understands how decisions made today shape options two and three moves from now. She has helped me navigate difficult employment situations, calibrate when to stay and when to move, determine what to negotiate — and just as importantly, what not to — and assess roles not just for title, but for trajectory. She tells you the truth, even when it’s uncomfortable, and she will not allow short-term emotion to derail long-term advantage. She understands the dynamics inside search firms, executive teams, and boardrooms because she has lived them. She brings clarity when the stakes are high and time is short. I would not have the career I have today without her counsel. When the decision truly matters, she is the only person I call.

Today's Focus

The work I do now is not traditional coaching. It is advisory shaped by lived experience inside consequential decision environments. Executives who seek me out are not looking for motivation or frameworks. They are looking for perspective that sharpens their thinking at pivotal moments.
